BoA seems to always have long straight hair, from what I see. Once I saw a couple of pictures of her with a different hairstyle, and she looked a lot different!!

And talking about attempting English and Chinese songs, I think she had really tried her best. I had listened to the English version of Amazing Kiss and Listen To My Heart and she sounded really nice!!!

here's my story...
i went to popular bookstore to buy dan brown's deception point and then when i'm queueing up i saw the rainbow coloured album on the japanese artists shelf!!
i quickly ran to take it b4 anyone does cuz it's the only one on the shelf!!
then although i have to queue a longer queue again i don't mind at all!
my friends were all 'wat the hell!? u changed a knowledgable book with a music CD!?'
i didn't answer them cuz i know best of soul much more worthy than tat book

but anywayz i bought the book too few days later... :D
hmm sales of best of soul is not too bad and not too good either
it has around 900k in japan now after it's release on 2/2/2005
the reason i said it's not so good is because i compare with valenti, her 2nd album which has sold over a million copies in japan
but then again it's unfair to compare sales of an album released 3 years ago with sales of an album released just a few weeks ago
so yeah i think it's selling well...moving around 50k each week now
no problem to reach the million mark :happy:

yeah it's a great dvd!! here's how i describe the 2 dvd tours
valenti tour is for people who love her cuteness and personality :excited:
love and honesty is more on to the professional side of BoA :brows:
so basically i think love and honesty is the tour to show for people who is new to boa
and valenti tour is for the fans! :D

I am also a big fan of BoA! I think she is a very talented person! "International sensation BoA has returned to Korea to start preparations for her upcoming 5th album. Last week, she begin taking photos for her CD jacket as well as starting filming for her first music video release.

The 5th album, set for a June 22nd release in Korea, is set to display a more mature and adult image of BoA. She will show a more traditional image in the CD jacket to more fully become the representative female image of Korea. BoA even enlisted famous designer Lee Young Hee to specially design a Hangok (traditional Korean dress) for the album jacket. The hanbok (see picture above) features thinner fabric to keep her cool and comfortable. Lee also designed this hanbok to accentuate BoA's eyes. BoA also wanted to portray the image of a woman who is waiting for her true love.

I think I've been getting obsessed with BoA recently. Just can't stop listening to BoA's songs.

I usually listen to her Japanese songs. Then I listened to her Korean album, Girls on Top, and found that her Korean songs seems to be nicer than her Japanese songs!!

Well, I don't know if her Chinese got better. I only listened to the Chinese version of Girls On Top, not any other BoA songs in Chinese. Although she doesn't sound as great, I know that she had put in her effort to try out singing in Chinese.

Haha, pop, actually I was a bit too impatient and I bought the Best Of Soul Concert VCD already. Well if you ask me, it's good, but I haven't seen the other concerts completely yet, only a few songs here and there. Nevertheless BoA still rulez. I really wonder how she can dance and sing so well at the same time. Real good stamina she has? Haha. Oh by the way, if you're talking about the song "Do the motion", it is one of the encore songs, and her performance for that song was, well, great too. Not to mention the unplugged version of Kono yono shirushi, it was great! And it's the first time she sang that song in the concert!

erm..i only watched the girls on top mv only once because it didn't appeal to me as moto did...
so i think the concept of the video is..
a normal gurl sitting on a couch day-dreaming..
tat she's in a cage surrounded by men...to show tat men are on top of her...not literally of course..
then the flower cut scene is to show she's so vulnerable tat even a touch from the plant could cause her to bleed...
so dunno how..she got out and yeah finally girls on top!? :D

about moto mv i think they're trying to show the coolness of one BoA in many different styles...
like the green shirt BoA versus white bandana BoA to compete who is cooler(personally i think the green shirt BoA is the winner though the white bandana gangsta is good stuff too :tongue: )...and the car scenes added maybe to address the title of the song which basically should be titled motor..

so yeah watch both mvs again with tat sentiment and you'll see which director did a better job..
girls on top vid have a weird story plot whereas moto had a straight up right in your face dance competition concept..

These are a few updates on her.
I think she's gonna do alot of promotions on the upcoming Japanese single because I
read somewhere that her sales for the Make a Secret single didn't go as high as her other singles or wasn't much of a sucess because of she was more focused on promoting for her 5th korean album.

I also read that the 6th Korean album is gonna be postponed to year 2007.
She's probebly gonna focus more in Japan and break into the Chinese market.
It's said that she will participate in a chinese drama too.

i've seen my fair share of backstage videos and interviews and i agree she's got that 'cuteness' to her in them but how can you be so sure that is her true self and not how she's portraying herself in her videos?

when was the last song she sang that was 'cute'? i can't remember. the past few singles have been sultry and sexy. isit because thats what guys like nowadays or because thats how she wants guys to percieve her? surely u have to admit there has been a huge change since her first album.

1)BoA has won Best Female in M-Net Awards!
2)BoA performed her best(debatable) performance yet in tat awards, singing live and dancing with full energy till she fainted right after the performance! sigh...worked herself too hard
3)BoA is on the list of the exceptional artist 2 perform in Japan's most prestigious annual music event yet again for the 4th straight year!

=O seems like a lot of people doesn't like her new sexy style. Personally, I don't like it that much either. I prefer her cute look (like the long brown straight hair and all). But my favourite is definitely her...err...classy look you call? I don't know...like the style in her new single Everlasting. It fully shows the "korean" in her, simple elegance.

oo00hh! I saw the news on another site. BoA's new album cover is amazing!! Absolutely stunning! And yes, I do agree this would be her best album (or maybe just evenly as good as Best of Soul). I'm really looking forward to this album!

I don't really like dakishimeru though..the MV just gives me a Britney Spears feeling -_______-" and OUTGROW～Ready butterfly～ sounds like the same style...I hope more songs like everlasting comes out, it's one my fav. BoA songs!

I thought Dakishimeru's MV was okay.. not TOO bad :tongue: Apparently my male friend really likes it :rolleyes: but my other friend who's a girl was saying "What kind of MV is that?!" :D

I really like her song Everlasting too.. but mainly because it's a nice ballad. I just read the translation for it and it's so aww/sad.

I don't really mind her more up beat songs either :happy:
