What's with Jay and his father?

hi guys,

ehehh.. i'm pretty new here and i have always wondered if Jay had meant what he had written in ba, wo hui lai le. . Is his father abusive as it had seemed? Why issit that everytime, he mentions only his mother?

Jay wrote the song based on a story he heard from his friend. I'm not sure if Jay's friend really had an abusive father but I know the song is definitely not about Jay's father himself.

Jay's parents are divorced and he's been living with his mother since that time so I guess he's closer to his mum. But Jay's alright with his Dad too. They go out for dinners and stuff and I think they even attended Jolin's concert together.

yup yup!!..he is still in good terms with his dad...i think i read before that he lends his cars to his dad...and cos they are antiques, they tend to break down, so when it does, his dad will call him up and scold him...LOL!!

haha no one(or is it just me :oops: ) knows why his parents divorce :shifty:

but then i guess even from a broken family jay's parents has always maintain a good 'example' for him... :happy:

his mom and dad had a divorce when jay was in high school. but he wasn't abusive. they are pretty good to each other now~ jay even gave money to him to go on a vacation on father's day or something! but i don't think him and jay's mom are "together". they're just nice now i guess... hope dat helps ya~ <3

jay and his father are not very close but his dad is not abusive!
actually, there was an incident when jay actually called his dad to wish him happy fathers day!
but he was too shy to do so.
so he called, heard his father's voice, said happy father's day and hung up!
which is soo cute of him, so shy!

If Jay's father was abusive, he wouldnt write a song and tell the whole world abotu it right? He has a good relationship with his dad now, but I guess a better relationship with his mom.
I know he and his dad meet up for meals and stuff. Its kinda like me and my dad~

AS far as i know, i am concerned that yeah his mom and dad are divorced and Jay;s is very close to his mom, and another thing that i heard was also the presence of his dad at Jolin's concert.
