Yue mei, I noticed that most Koreans are tall even the women! I have read that in the past 10 years Koreans are much more taller than their father generation. I think it's because of better condition of life and they have to do National Service :shifty:

The Korean actor are very tall, SSH oppa is considered average for Korean actors and he's 179cm (but wonbin is 1cm shorter >.<). Most actors are 180 cm and above.

actually, i was trying to dig up the thread at Shinhwa Sarang to find the pics cuz they were larger. it was pics of hyesung, minwoo, and dongwan in shorts while doing the 7th album jacket photoshoot. i think i only saved the sungie pic, but i haven't been able to find it at home. :? and the links are dead for sungie and wannie in the SS thread. only woonie is left. did any shinhwa lovers happen to save those pics? otherwise, i'd have to dig up the vid to get the caps of the boys. maybe i need to search through my folders again for the sungie pic. i just thought it was funny to see him eating a donut in shorts while doing a photoshoot. :tongue: hmmm... speaking of which, we still need to get a couple of shinhwa members certified. :whistle:

hmm, let me see if i can answer your question.

in korea, men are required by law to serve 2 years in the army. usually they request them at around 23-25(?)...and if they attend college, they can put it off a while. or if they have a medical condition they don't have to serve at all.

shinhwa might have to go too (and bi and se7en and all those gasoos :cry: )...but they can't put it off for too long. SH oppa kind of made up false medical records so he was drafted when he's suppose to (? - i'm not too certain because that's about the time when i began taking interest in him) he got into a lot of trouble for lying and now he has to serve. hope he's not having a hard time in the military because for that incident :sadangel:

maybe someone can give you a better explanation. my description is kind of confusing :wacko:
