This is a thread that I am starting to sort of give people a heads up of when Jay's going to appear on SINGAPORE TV.

I know I get really frustrated when I read about the Jay appearances I had missed, because I was not informed of the show earlier... :ranting:

So, I would really appreciate if you guys could help to update us, about any Jay appearances on TV, like if you saw this Jay interview on cable, and you know what time the repeat is on, you could post and inform others so that they too can catch it.

PLEASE, please don't post stuff that is already over, like right now, it is 1.30am and I just saw a Jay show (for example) on channel 8, and only after I saw the show then I post to inform......

Also, would appreciate if you keep the thread clean, and DON'T post unrelated stuff like "I saw Jay on TV, he was great!" or stuff like that... and as this is a thread meant for the Singaporeans, would appreciate if our fellow non-singaporean members refrain from posting questions asking when the program will air in your country, because quite seriously, we wouldn't know :sweat:

I am not that sure about radio appearances, but for now I think we can include that here too. I will credit whoever provide the full info about the shows also, so would appreciate if you find out about any shows, to state the name (of the show), time and channel, so that I don't have to go and check programme guides.

This is so cool mcdawn, at least now there's a place where I can check when I can get to see Jay on TV! Since I hardly tune in to local TV, this should help lots. Meanwhile I watch the cable quite extensively, should I come across his news, I would be able to inform u guys, since there will usually be a repeat near midnight time.

I'm surprised there seem so many telecast of the MTV Asia Aid, hard to miss this time.

It's called <祝你新年快乐跨年晚会> I think this is last year's.
Remember it's on 8th February, 1400 hours.

There's actually another chinese music award show at 1200 on the same day, called <第10届全球华语音乐榜中榜> Anyone knows if Jay will appear?

There is a Jay Chou Special on 10 Feb 05 (Thu) at 10am MTV Chinese Cable Channel 51.

I saw the programme snippet earlier, but couldn't see what kind of special is it. Is it Qi Li Xiang Special or other Special I'm not sure, no clues from the programme guide as well. Cos if it's Qi Li Xiang, it has been broadcasted before for the New Year programme. Anyway if I catch the snippet again and know what it is, I'll edit my post to give more info.

Channel 5's showing the 2004 World Music Awards now till 2.30 p.m.

Jay won the Top selling artiste for China, but he couldn't make it for the presentation. However, there should be a short video clip for his Thank You speech.

I think this is a really good topic thread to have coz' I've always wondered where I can post up news on Jay's programs upcoming on Singapore TV. And also where to look for. But it's a pity I only saw it now, which means I have missed out those on CNY programs.

MacDawn, you mentioned there was a 2004 countdown concert, right? But he was in US during that time, right? How did he make it for the concert?

I watched the second half of the MTV one and it was a behind-the-scenes special of his Incomparable concert. It was funny at some parts (eg. when Jielun was telling the camera that he'd just started keeping a pet, referring to Dantou of NQMM haha!) but they included too much of actual concert footage which I'm sure all of us already have on VCD/DVD/both so...

Anyone knows when it'd be shown again? MTV always repeats its programmes doesn't it?

I know this might be a very short notice, but just now, while I was out, I saw that during the 6.30pm channel 8 news, there was a short segment on Jay, about him commenting about impacts on the current anti-Sino sentiments could have towards the screening of Initial D... very short, less than 1 min of interview, but in case you diehards out there want to record, there might be a repeat at 10pm later... hurry!

Hi all,

For those who have SCV, Channel 50:

Know this is kind of late, but just to let you all know about this. This morning, I by chance saw a talk show with the initial D crews/casts as guest stars. Think the programme was recorded when the crews/casts attended the gala premiere in Beijing earlier this week (Jay wore the black flowery jacket). The show was "A Date with Yu Lu II" (SCV, Ch 50, Phoenix Chinese Channel).

I checked the teletext and there's another time slot for the show later at 1.15am (23 Jun). I'm not sure whether it will be a repeat telecast of this morning's show or will it be another new episode. But for those who don't want to miss any single chance to catch Jay, try to stay tune.

During the interview, Jay was paired up with Chapman To, so it was quite hilarious. Also Jay appears very cute, especially when teased by Chapman (Think the interview between them lasted for at least 20 minutes).

I do hope the 1.15am slot will be a repeated telecast since I didn’t manage to catch the whole interview this morning. When I switched on the TV, it was already like second half of the show. So let us keep our fingers crossed and pray hard.

P.S: I'm not very certain about this, but just in case for those who managed to see this post and are keen to give it a try and willing to stay up and wait, since the timing is quite late.

Another one here. Heard that at the earlier telecast of the E-News @ Asia, they showed bits of the LIVE broadcast of Initial D red carpet held in Taipei today. So, catch the repeat telecast for those who have missed it earlier on.

Sorry, but I don't really understood what you meant. I've mentioned that the Jay will be attending 100% Entertainment on Thursday LIVE show (that is in Taiwan's broadcast). Singapore's Channel U will be airing it on the next day, Friday, 5pm.

I don't know if SCV Cable shows 100% Entertainment. GTV is a Taiwan Channel. I hope these information could answer your doubts.

Okay, Jay's appearing on E-News, 10th November. The first 2 runs have passed, so you can watch out for the next run tomorrow morning, 11th November at 11.30am.

He appears about 15 minutes after the start of the program.

There are some parts which were very funny, especially during the road test questions. :D Also, he looks really good and happy during the program. He even played one of Chopin's piece which is my personal favourite.

And watch out for the little sounds "Chong ah!!!" he makes when playing the racing game. Can see he really enjoyed himself. Like a little boy.

Channel U will be broadcasting the award show at 7.30pm on 30th April. Remember to catch it. Just hope that they won't "cut" away too much of Jay's thank you speech.

For those who missed Jay on Zong Yi Da Ge Da in 2005 when he released November's Chopin, do watch the show on Channel U, 12 Jan at 8pm.

I'm not sure they will show the full part with Jay because the show is only is edited to only 1 hour. I remember Jay's part is about 1/2 hour.

If you have time, perhaps you could watch the repeat telecast at 12am on 14 Jan (Sunday). It should be the full show.
