David Tao = He writes his own music, writes his own lyrics, and made some good music too. And I just found out that he's also a Godly man, which makes me respect him even more.

Mayday = Just like Jay and David, they write their own music and lyrics too, and real nice ones. Well, actually Ah Shin is the most talented one among them because he's the one who does the composing and lyrics. I love them as a group because they got this unity and to me, they're the best Taiwanese Band with real talents.

Fan Wei Qi = I love Fan fan so bad. I love her voice, and she's also one humble and nice person. Her albums are just great, they're my favorites.

Joey Yung = Beautiful golden voice. She's one of HK singers that doesn't depend on her looks, but more of her voice. All of her mandarin albums rock and I just wish I could sing like her. She really is a talented singer.

Basically, the first asian music group I heard and still enjoy listening to is F4, courtesy of Meteor Garden. Muscially, they aren't anywhere as talented as my ultimate fav band Linkin Park (yes, LP isn't an asian group, but they do have 2 asian members... :happy:), but I like Vic's new album. And Vic and Ken are the most handsome Asian guys I've seen so far in my life (no offense to anyone else's opinions :wink2: ), and they basically have their looks to thank for their singing career. However, a singer's looks aren't important as part of my appreciation for music, since I usually hear an artist before I ever see them.

Other than Jay, I also like S.H.E.; otherwise my knowledge of asian music is pathetically limited. That's partly why I'm here at this forum; to learn more! :)

I think they're all really good singers...F4 not so good now. I'm not sure why but I used to like them so much but I don't now. But there's something about Vic Chou's voice that makes me really feel what he's singing. There's one song that touches me in a deep part of my heart - Po Shui De Yen Lei - or Pieces of Tears. Ohhhh...makes me shiver, that song.

Steve Chou..."Huang Hun". That song is epic, seriously. My heart goes up and down in time with the song and the other songs on his Transfer album is very good too.

And I normally don't like many female singers but Zhou Hui has an extraordinary voice. If I could sing like that, well...that would really be something =)

I know I responded to this thread before, but I just listened to Penny Dai's newest album "So Penny" and found out that she actually compose and write the lyrics for EVERY single song that's in her albums. And I love her new album so bad. I just thought she's too talented to be left out. SO... GO PENNY!!!

For me, I like Cyndi Wang (looks like I am the first one to mention Cyndi here), 5566, David Tao, Elva Hsiao, F.I.R, Fish Leong, JJ Lin, S.H.E and Stefanie Sun.

Cyndi Wang looks pretty and cute and can dance very well, as seen in her Ai Ni MV. 5566's songs are not bad and I like to see Tony and Zax hosting Xi Ha Pi Tou 4. For David Tao, he can compose songs and his voice is nice, as hears in some songs like Pu Tong Peng You. Elva's look is quite sexy and I quite like her songs also.
